| Description: | At the Institute of Botany of the Faculty of Biology, Division of Physiology and Cell Physiology of Alpine Plants. The position will be based on a permanent civil-law employment contract with the University. Responsibilities: representing the discipline in research and teaching; carrying out basic research in plant physiology with a focus on the effects of environmental factors on higher plants of the alpine regions and climatically similar regions; establishing innovative, molecular methods to study structural and functional relationships; cooperating with the existent research groups at the Institute and within the Faculty of Biology and with the “research areas” of the University of Innsbruck; teaching mainly in the following fields of study: Bachelor Biology, Master Botany and PhD Biology; participating in academic administration and self-governance. |
