Plant Genome Evolution 2017 – 1–3 October 2017

A Current Opinion in Plant Biology Conference, Sitges, Barcelona, Spain

A programme focused on plant genomes of green algae, lower and higher plants, natural variation, domestication, epigenetics, polyploidy, and systems biology, of course all with a strong emphasis on evolution and evolutionary aspects. Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are invited on the below conference topics and should be submitted using the online abstract submission system.

  • Genome evolution of green algae, mosses, and ferns
  • Genome evolution of gymnosperms and angiosperms
  • Gene and genome duplication
  • Genomic views on hybridization, heterosis, domestication, and speciation
  • Genomic variation and population genomics
  • Bioinformatics, systems and synthetic biology
